I think that this is such a great idea. Starting Thursday (Nov. 5th) Home Depot will allow you to trade in your old, used, worn out Christmas lights for a $3 off coupon on Energy Efficient LED Lights. You can trade in up to 5 strands of old lights for five $3 off coupons. You must purchase your new lights between Nov. 5th - Nov. 15th.

The set of lights pictured above is $5.97 at Home Depot, so this makes for a really good deal when combined with the $3 coupons.
